Welcome… About Us
For 21 years, the company hosted events that included retirees in the five western states, certain bay area employees with 30+ years of service, and selected members of management. This ended in 1997, and we began self-hosting a luncheon in 1998.
There are no restrictions on who may attend. Folks who worked for Information Technology or Computer Services in the past are invited to attend, whether retired or not, or transferred out of Chevron IT or now working at another company.
Please pass on information about the luncheon and web site to others, as they may not be aware of it – and might like to join us.
A lunch event is held EACH December near San Ramon.

Jerry Brody reported:
As I recall, in 1983, Dave Mitchell and Tom Fisher wanted to make this video to send to the IT departments of the OpCo’s. At that time, there was a healthy competition between CITC and Automated Office Systems for the control of the desktop. Dave and Tom wanted to convince the OpCo’s that San Francisco was doing the research necessary to roll out and control “Professional Workstations”. One reason was to reassure them that these would not be stand alone personal computers but would somehow be integrated with the rest of data processing and office services. The video features Chuck Oldenburg, Tom Fisher, Gerald Brody and Rose (Scearcy) Taylor. Click Here to View Video (0:26)
